In April of 2003 we purchased 12 acres on a new airstrip called South Hollywood near Wasilla, Alaska. It's approximately 50 miles by road from Anchorage. To see the property we call Pathways, click a picture at the right to view it better.

For many years we have enjoyed using our gift of hospitality for missionaries when they need to come to town for various reasons. Our desire is to provide rest and relaxation (R&R) for missionaries and pastors when they have to be away from home by making a comfortable place to stay.

The runway provides a place to be dropped off by missionary pilots or for them to fly their own airplane in. We have room for them to park a car for “town” use as well. When complete, the hangar will be available for special maintenance for their aircraft.

Prayer & Praise:

Website: Praise the Lord for the creation of this new web site. Please pray as we work with the designer (our niece Sabrina) that it will be built for God's glory and that it will honor Him.
Beth's mother (Jean): Will be living with us when we move. Please pray for her as she has Dementia and needs to be living with us for more daily contact. She is 84 and in fairly good health.
Cabin: A cabin was donated and moved to location with voluntary help and now needs lots of work to make it livable. Also need to build other cabins as the Lord provides. This will provide some desperately needed housing for families.
Summer volunteers: The need for short-term missionaries or “helpers” to complete the many building projects needed the summer of 2006. The need for housing for these workers, possibly using travel trailers or motor homes.
Financial needs: To complete the apartment, insulate and finish the hangar as well as other building materials needed for completion.
